๐ข๐ป ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฐ, Frontiers Children Development Organization celebrated the Day of the African Child with the theme “๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐น๐น ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ณ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ: ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ง๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ ๐ก๐ผ๐.” ย The event took place at Lokichar Girls Primary Grounds in Lokichar.
The day was epic as children participated in a 4 KM walk campaign, advocating for their rights and the importance of education for all children. The walk symbolized their determination and commitment to their cause.
At the venue, children entertained the audience and showcased their talents through poetry recitations, dramas, dances, and songs, all centered on child care and rights. Their performances amazed attendees and guests, highlighting the potential within our children.
The event emphasized the need for all parents, teachers, NGOs with Child-centered Programming and Government to support children Education and support them even in realizing their talents and other capabilities for better society in future.
The event was attended by several NGOs with child-centered programs, including World Vision, Amref Health Africa, USAID partners, Child Welfare Society of Kenya, Akili Dada, Kapese Trust Fund, Frontiers Children Development Organization, Turkana County Department of Gender and Youth Affairs and National Department of Children Services – Kenya.
