Access to clean water and sanitation is essential for safeguarding public health and promoting dignity and well-being. FCDO’s water and sanitation projects address the challenges of limited access to safe drinking water and inadequate sanitation facilities in Turkana County. We work to improve water infrastructure, drill boreholes, and construct water points to provide communities with reliable access to clean water sources. Concurrently, we promote hygiene education and sanitation practices to prevent waterborne diseases and improve overall health outcomes. By prioritizing water and sanitation initiatives, FCDO seeks to create sustainable solutions that enhance the quality of life for children and families in Turkana County.
