FCDO recognizes the critical importance of health and nutrition in enabling children to thrive. In Turkana County, where access to healthcare services and nutritious food can be limited, our health and nutrition programs play a vital role in improving the well-being of vulnerable communities. We work to enhance healthcare infrastructure, provide essential medical supplies, and facilitate access to preventive and curative services, including maternal and child health care. Additionally, FCDO promotes nutrition education, supports agricultural initiatives, and implements feeding programs to combat malnutrition and ensure that children receive the nourishment they need to grow and develop. Through these efforts, we aim to build a healthier future for children and families in Turkana County.
Frontiers Children Development Organization (FCDO) is a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working for the well-being of Deprived, Excluded and Vulnerable (DEV) children In Turkana County, an Arid and Semi-Arid Area in Kenya.
