Billy Ekaran brings a strong background in Accounting and Finance to his role as a Board Member of FRONTIERS CHILDREN DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION, where he represents the Turkana Professionals Association. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Accounting option), a Diploma in Accountancy, and CPA Intermediate qualifications, Billy’s academic foundation reflects his commitment to financial excellence and professional growth.

With over six years of experience as the Bursar at St. Kevin’s Secondary School in Lodwar, Billy has developed extensive expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, fee management, and compliance with educational financial regulations. In this role, he has overseen day-to-day financial operations, coordinated audits, and supported the school’s long-term financial planning and sustainability.

Billy’s key areas of professional interest include public sector finance, school accounting systems, internal controls, and financial policy implementation. His ability to apply sound financial management practices has strengthened institutional accountability and ensured efficient use of resources, ultimately contributing to the educational advancement of young people in Turkana County.
